Robin’s Blog

Life with Robin, England 2003-2004
It is impossible to tell Robin’s story without telling some of my own, for from the first day we met online in the Summer of 1999, our lives were forever intertwined. By 2003, I had become what in common parlance is known as a Whistleblower. I was fighting a national Government, a major global corporation and all their dark tribunes, yet amid that maelstrom Robin came to join me.

Christmas, 2011
Pooh,
You didn’t think you would get through the season without a whoops & yoyo card did you? HA!
I know we talk about rocking chairs and retirement 🙂 but the truth is, for me, the only time I feel young is the time I spend with you….

Birthday – February 5, 2020
My Love,
When I was considering how to begin, I wondered whether I should say my Dearest Love, or Friend, Brother, playmate as children, other half, my heart, soulmate for all of these are true. You are the one I want to share everything with. The first person I think about when I wake and the last one at night….

Life with Robin – England, 2018 (Part: 1)
Tues, Apr 24, 2018, 8:18 PM – I know I promised pictures but this first email won’t have any simply due to the fact the journey took about 27 hours total, so I was just too exhausted to care about the camera. I did, however, want to pull out the camera in Piccadilly Square in Manchester Train Station to take a picture of the policeman patrolling the area. Robin said it would draw too much attention so I didn’t do it.

Life with Robin – England, 2018 (Part: 2)
May 7, 2018, 3:53 PM – So, last Friday, Robin decided to get me out of the house and on a bus to York citing the weather was beautiful and we should go while the going was good. He was right, the weather was perfect. We caught the bus outside his house and went into town to catch the bus that goes to York. It was another double-decker and the front windows were open once again so naturally, I snagged them.

Life with Robin – England, 2019
Fri, Apr 5, 2019, 1:28 PM – It’s Friday the 5th noon-ish here which means its before 5 AM there. After a grueling week which I won’t go into, mostly because I don’t want to have to relive the details, I finally have the unpacking done and put away. It feels like I’ve slept for days which apparently I needed. Tomorrow is Market day and I am looking forward to it.

Robin’s Writing Blog
I built Robin her own little office to write in. As you can see by the pics, she was soon at home. LOL However, it did not take Robin long to get our book organized as is clear from the whiteboard pic. Organization was a quality Robin had in abundance, and one I have never been blessed with. Both as romantic and creative partners, we tended to compliment one another, as indeed all the best relationships should.

More of Our Pics 2018-2019
Here are some more pics from our life and travels together. Bridlington is an old Victorian resort town on the Yorkshire Coast, with a quaint harbor and beautiful golden sands. It nestles in a bay skirted by Flamborough Head. It was in that very bay where John Paul Jones, founder of the US Navy, lost his ship in a fierce sea-battle, and uttered what are perhaps his most famous words, the rallying cry “I have not yet begun to Fight!”.

Valentine’s Day, 2020
Robin and I never missed a Valentine’s Day over the twenty years we spent loving one another, though this is perhaps my favorite – The Two Robins in Paris where we belonged.
