All of Your Fear

If I painted in Red on a Canvas of Wood
What would you see in the splinters and cracks
If I splashed on some white and black on the edges
Would it make up for all that it lacks?

If I sang you a song soft and low sweet and clear
How would it sound? What would you hear?
If I added a flute and the sweet smell of roses
Would it take away all of your fear?
